When NTA Channel 10 Lagos rolled out her 2017 edition of NTA Family Christmas Funfair at the Tejuosho office in Lagos, it was pumps and pageantry as the opening ceremony came out in styles and colours.

Slated on a week day, Monday 11th December 2017, one would have expected a low attendance but behold the secret of the huge turnout including school children  presence at the arena was hinged largely on the promotion carried out using the African Best Kid Entertainer, OzzyBee.

Emerging from his tour of East African country, Tanzania where in a Pan Africa Humanitarian Summit, he bagged the prestigious award on Entertainment and Child Advocacy. OzzyBee’s presence at the event electrified the entire arena as he wowed the high and mighty including Head of States, Ministers, Former Nigeria’s First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan represented amongst others.

OzzyBee’s presence at the NTA Funfair attracted a VIP attention all the way from his arrival as the school children ran riot on sighting him. He was immediately ushered in to the join the VIP team led by the General Manager of NTA Lagos CH 10, Mrs Helen Odeleye. Shortly after he was formally introduced to members of the high table.

The high point of the event was the official recognition of the 10 year old Kid sensation by the NTA as the youngest Nigerian to be honoured with their prestigious UNIQUE CELEBRITY AWARD.

The UNESCO child Advocate and Stop Child Cruelty Campaigner appreciated the Nigerian Television Authority for the hounour and aptly dedicated the Award to the Almighty God as well as his Babcock University College school. It was indeed a celebration of one of their own as the students and staff of the Babcock University College led by their Vice Principal thronged the stage to celebrate the WonderKid whom they describe as “an asset to their school”.

He later set the stage on fire with his latest trending song; Charlie Dance: Featuring Rugged Man and Vector. He also dropped the afro continental track “Chineke Mere ya”. It was a mob action as children and adults including the General Manager of NTA stormed the stage to catch some fun.

He didn’t leave the packed arena without his usual parting of his souvenir which he personally distributed to the children who took turns in group photograph with their Kid role model.

What a way to round off a most eventful year.
